Julie Olds, born and raised in Central Ohio, has nearly 20 years experience working in end-of-life industries. She has nearly 15 years working in senior housing and healthcare, and over 10 years working in funeral and grief support services. Julie is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelors in Allied Medicine, and a graduate of Franklin University with a Masters in Marketing and Communication.


As a member of the International Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC), Julie received her Certification in Thanatology in 2018. She then went on to receive her Certification as a Funeral Celebrant in 2022.


One of Julie's biggest accomplishments was receiving the Community Educator Award in 2021 from ADEC - a prestigious award recognizing her efforts in Community Outreach and Education. Another great accomplishment was Julie's organization of the Central Ohio Grief Care Coalition, a resource group comprised of organizations that provide grief care and support to families of Central Ohio.


Julie is married with one beautiful daughter. She enjoys reading, writing, and public speaking as well as cooking, baking, and enjoying the outdoors.
