A native of the Cleveland area, Rev. Jim Zippay founded Heritage Christian Church in the Columbus suburb of Westerville in 1989. After starting with 30 charter members, the church grew to a weekly impact of almost 3,000 regular attendees and guests. During his career, Jim has traveled to over 20 underdeveloped countries presenting the Gospel and establishing partnerships with local ministries. He has also been an instructor and mentor to prisoners at Marion Correctional Institute and has completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education through Nationwide Children’s Hospital, providing pastoral care to patients, parents and staff. Rev. Zippay is National Church Residences first home office-based corporate chaplain.
